World has more good people than bad

In this blog I want to share one of my personal experience

For the last few months unknowingly... I had grown skeptical about people...

particularly about getting into friendship with new people...

it was the after-effect of my breakup with a close friend

I had started avoiding new people from coming close to me.. building a wall around me.

This undoubtedly kept me out of any new conflict.

However I didn't notice that in essence I had ruled out the possiblity of getting new friends.

But slowly I realized that world definetly has many good people than bad people and we keep meeting many good people in our day-to-day life

You won't notice them if your mind is full of pre-conceived notions.

Last week I did see a advertisement in craiglist for treadmill.

I wanted to make a call immediately however my roommate asked me to call next day as it was already 9:15 pm night

Next morning when I called up it was late somebody had already made a call and had booked it

I was disappointed.

However the owner was a kind person and told me that he will call me if the earlier caller didn't turn up

In the evening I was thrilled to see him calling me up.

I immediately asked my roommate to get ready and took his address.

Sometimes I feel I am a bit hasty. I didn't even ask few basic questions abt when he bought the machine etc. Never bargained

While roommate started making call to our other friends who had treadmill to understnad how good the deal was and how much we could bargain

We reached his home.

The man lived in a big house.

I was surprised to see him so much courteous and nice.

He didn't had that skeptical feeling when he was talking to us.

We left our slippers outside his house and he asked us couple of times to put on slippers.

He was running up-down basement-room to get keys to open up threadmill planks.

However none worked.

Seeing that nothing was working it started appearing that we won't be able to carry it to my home... my car is too small to take away a treadmill and a cycle

Finally he offered to carry treadmill and cycle in his SUV.

His facial expression were quite natural and the way he was conversing with us made me feel that we knew each other since long.

He even introduced us to his wife which didn't made much of a sense when you are only meeting for a one time business

Meeting him definetly made me feel that world has more good people than bad people
