A Day when everything went wrong

We do have some days when everything go wrong... atleast I felt so last weekend

Last weekend I went to Washington for 1 day trip with my friends...
I was not so interested to go as I had already visited Washington but didn't wanted to say no to my friends among whom I was the only one who knew driving...
Secondly 1 among them was going back to India and wanted to see DC before leaving

We started almost on time at around 8:10 am on saturday morning...
We had to pick up car from AVIS Rental but my GPS was not able to locate it...
So we decided to feed the adress of New castle airport (AVIS was at same airport)...
I don't know why but GPS led us to the back of the airport... and we couldn't find way to get to its front...
Next we thought of going ahead with AVIS in wilmington which was the nearest AVIS that my GPS could locate ...

On reaching AVIS wilmington we realized there was no parking lot where I could leave my Car... after having one round of discussion we decided to call up one of our friend to get the exact address of AVIS Newark... something we should have done at start

Finally we made it... late by 1hr 30 min

We started finally... Drive was nice...
Except we were divided when it came to decide on song to be played as we represnted four distinct languages - hindi, telugu, tamil and english.

The first spot in Washington was NASA.
Surprised? NASA in Washington?
So were we on reaching there.
It was just one headquaters building of NASA.
I don't know how my wise nobles voted on it.

Next was food.
We wanted to get to some nice indian reasturant.
People had done googling in this field and had got name and address of some indian restra.

The hotel we decided was 'Rasika'.
It was difficult to find parking space near Rasika and we nearly spent 30 min roaming around it. Finally we got parking space and happily entered Rasika only to learn
'No lunch on saturday in Rasika'.
To get on we had a lunch at a nearby mexican restra. The only good thing in that restra was the lady who served us :)

Rest of the day went fine.
Lot of snap and arappawi (a word repeated cited by one of my friend to tease others which means nothing but nonsense)

In the evening we planned to again try out an indian restra before leaving DC. This time we decided some restra called 'Bombay ...'
After somehow being able to loacte it we discovered that it had got moved to some other place...

Luckily but this time we were able to find another good hotel near by called 'Aroma'.

After having food we started back to the street where we had parked our car which was a little far from restra.
Weather had been really good throughout the day but suddenly and unexpectedly it started raining heavily and we were stuck.
We were getting late and we again lost almost another hour.

I had planned of getting started from DC by 8 PM and it was now already 10:30 PM.
It was even getting difficult to drive.
Visibility was greatly reduced and I desperately wanted to get out of the crazy city.

Fun started when I started getting nature's call.
I wanted to piss and after long wait took an exit which showed signs for McDonald etc.
It was altogether a different exit. I had to drive atleast 3 miles to get to see anything.

First attempt to piss was at gas station ... but the shop at gas station was closed.
Next I could see McD board and headed towards it. Meanwhile pressure kept increasing.
The last thing that I could imazine was to find McD toilet closed due to some cleaning work.
Had started to experience some first in lifetime experiences!

Now what to do?
I did see some more shops nearby and me and one of my friend headed towards it under an umbrella ... getting half drenched....
Oh god! Even this shop was getting closed.
Luckily the next one was somehow open and I was able to piss.
I can't express the relief nor can I express my gratitude to that shop - both esteemed.

The rest of return journey was fine.
Only little trouble for the person sitting next to me as he had to keep switching between heater and AC.
One person at back was feeling hot while another cold and the person at front were getting sandwiched in between.

The last thing that I wished was to be able to return the rented car that night itself as this would save me from waking up early next morning.
However that didn't work. Airport was closed by the time we reached New Castle and next morning I had to wake up at 8:00 am to return car.

Volleyball ground

Before I start I would like to mention that I am a simple outward complex inward human being like others...
I feel I have been good to people in general... I try to help out people near me... I don't do any wrong things... but I do lose temper at times.... I am still working on controlling my anger...

**********

Friday is the day for volleyball for us here...

It is one of the only physical activity we have in week... and right now one of the most entertaining as well

So like all I was waiting for it... I reached the ground as early as I could (still late by 30-40 min)...

My sudden happiness disappeared as soon as i noticed my ex-friend (HS) in ground...
oh my god!

I had never expected him ... and lastly nobody had even asked him to come... all my collegues here are little pissed off with him ...
however social is the rule we need to follow ...

on Seeing me my all friends asked me to join... I didn't wanted to play where he was playing... and I stepped back... I told I had some work and went back... back to car and back to home...
though all my close friends realized as to why I went back..

on reaching home.. all alone... I was feeling very bad... suddenly I realized that why it has to be me who has to step back... why should I compromise on my life happiness for some crap person...

I rushed back to car..and back to ground...
I joined the same team HS was there... on seeing me he made a comment like there are already enough players on their side... but all other people wanted me to there as they like and understand me...
I also passed a comment indirectly 'itne bekar logo ko kaun bula leta hai'
(who calls these crap people for playing)... he made a frown face but couldn't say anything for two reasons...
one there were more people who would have supported me...
secondly not losing his image...
but I had learned one important lesson from him 'who cares'...

Everyone who knew abt ur broken relationship got it immediately for whom was the comment...
I know it may have a bad impact on my image... but I don't want a false image nor I want to mask my feelings and take shit for no reasons...

game started ...
after one game he realized that being in one team and playing is going to be really difficult .. so he changed hos team... that was some relief for me...
however I almost lost my half fun due to him being there...

What I felt good at end is that 'I came back after initially leaving the field'... this was even appreciated by my other friends later
leasson for all ... don't ever sacrifice anything for someone who would never care for you..

got kidney stone

I am having a very painful experience since last 2 day - kidney stone.

It started on 5th April night at around 12:00 night. First I thought its just a usual stomach pain asking me to go for sleep. Therefore I left the fun of late night internet browsing and went for sleeping.

At around 4:00 am in the morning I felt some unbearable pain on left side of stomach. I first thought that its just a nature call. I went to restroom.. however no relief. It started growing.

I somehow reached to the hall of my room where one of my roommate (M) used to sleep. I had to crawl to reach there!

My roommate got up surprised and tried to understnad what was happening. He brought me back to my room on my bed.

The pain was not to go away so easily. Things started growing worse.
I asked my roommates (M and V) to call my immediate supervisor (R) as well as ambulence.

R and M asked me to go in car. However I was in intense pain and hardly believed that I could move.

I insisted on ambulence. My roommates called 911 - ambulence.
Ambulence guys had there own list of questions. For 15 minutes I could see my roommates explaining to ambulence people why we needed ambulence.

15 minutes is enough for aperson to give up! I wonder if such ambulences can really help in emergency.

I had never
